Tenali Couple Commit Suicide

Tenali: A couple had committed suicide in a hotel of Guntur district, Tenali. They were identified as Sai Divya (24) and Prudhvi Raj (30). The management suspected something amiss when the couple did not step out of their room for two days.

According to the police, Sai Divya completed her B.tech and was preparing for competitive exams. She used to come to Vijayawada regularly for bank coaching. Meanwhile, she came in contact with Prudhvi Raj, an auto driver of Chitti Nagar with whom she fell in love. The family members of Sai Divya filed a missing case in Eluru police station on the 9th of this month.

Prudhviraj had rented a hotel on Sunday and when the couple didn’t emerge from their room for two days, hotel staff who found them hanging from a fan, informed in Gandhechauk. the Eluru police. The cops identified the duo based on the call data records in their call phones. It is learnt that Prudhviraj is married and a father of two children.

The police are investigating the case.
