Lake Police Rescue Woman, 4 Children From Committing Suicide

Hyderabad: The lake police of Hussain Sagar rescued a woman and her four children who were on their way to end their lives by jumping into the lake today morning.

According to the police, the lake patrol team identified a woman, who was moving around the lake suspiciously with her children. Upon understanding her intentions, they were taken to the police and questioned. She said that her husband was raking up quarrel with her over the last few months for trivial reasons. She mentioned to the police that he was also having an extra-marital affair with a woman On Thursday, the couple had an argument, later physically assaulted her.

Depressed over her husband's behaviour, the woman decided to end her life. hence she had come along with her children to commit suicide by jumping into the Hussain Sagar waters. Later she was sent to the Bharosa Centre for counseling.
