Chandrababu orders police to foil Mudragada's fast? - Sakshi Post

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu is believed to have ordered the officials to foil the on-going fast by the Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham at his native Kirlampudi village in East Godavari demanding BC status to Kapu community.

After the cabinet met on Sunday afternoon, the AP CM was apparently steadfast with his stand by ordering the officials to foil Mudragada's fast which has entered third day on Sunday. CM stated that the government will not yield to the pressures on this matter at any cost and is also determined not to go for any talks with the spearhead of the Kapu agitation.

It's clear that the Sunday's cabinet meeting revolved around Mudragada's indefinite fast and the government has come to a decision to stop the ongoing hunger strike and political protest. The officials are clearly instructed to break the fast when Mudragada's health deteriorates and be foiled by the police according to the law and order.

Meanwhile, AP government decided to clear all the applications submitted to Kapu Corporation. It is also learnt that the cabinet opined the prolonging of Manjunatha Committee's tenure is also not viable.

According to the present scenario in the state, it is clear that Mudragada's fast will be foiled very soon.
