Boy Held For Eloping With Class 9 Girl 

Hyderabad: A 19-year-old boy was arrested on Wednesday for eloping with a class 9 student and sexually assaulting her.

Rohith, a resident of Chikkadpally in Hyderabad fell in love with the girl. He convinced her to marry him and the duo secretly ran away to Mumbai to get married. Due to the lack of money he could not marry her, but lived together ever since.

Meanwhile, the girl's parents lodged a missing complaint with the police. During the investigation, police nabbed Rohith and handed over the girl to her parents. "The victim and Rohith had run away to Mumbai. They did not inform their parents about their relationship," a police officer said.

Police registered a case under Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and arrested the man.
