Amaravati:The Second Day of the 15th Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh commenced at 11.00 am on Thursday.

Protem Speaker Appala Naidu conducted the proceeding and administered the oath to G. Srinivasa Reddy, YSRCP MLA from Narsaraopet constituency. He could not attend the 1st day of the assembly session as his mother had passed away.

Veteran legislator Tammineni Sitaram was unanimously elected as the Speaker of the Assembly. Sitaram who had earlier filed his nomination on Wednesday evening for the Speaker's election and with as many as 30 YSRC MLAs seconding his nomination, was elected to the post unopposed.
