Chandrababu Trolled For Unfinished Flyovers In Vijaywada

The unfinished Durga temple flyover, - Sakshi Post

Vijayawada: Vijayawada is the nearest city to the capital of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati, and it is also known as the business capital in the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh. Since the capital has been announced rental prices and traffic in Vijayawada has grown vigorously.

The first project taken up the ruling Telugu Desam Party government is the Durga temple flyover, which is yet to be completed. PV Narasimha Rao Expressway in Hyderabad is the largest in India. It is about 11.6km and was completed in three years, beginning at the end of 2005.

Meanwhile, the total length of this flyover is 2.6km. What irks the residents of the city is that Chandrababu Naidu’s government, which enjoyed power for five years, could not complete this project.

The irony is that Chandrababu once conducted a huge dharna for the completion of the flyover, while he was in opposition.

As the flyover is under construction travelers taking this route are facing issues. Curbs on traffic are severely affecting the heavy vehicles traveling to Hyderabad via Vijayawada to Chennai Highway and from Machilipatnam to Pune.

Apparently, the reason which is being sighted for the delay of the project is that the designers called the current six-lane design risky, as the alignment gets tough. It is learned that a sum of Rs 11 crore was spent on the beautification of the bridge even before it started functioning.

Another pending flyover in the city is the one being built to ease the heavy vehicles travelling via Benz circle. Due to this flyover vehicles are facing issues in the area.

Chandrababu is being trolled on social media that he, who claims to have constructed Cyberabad is not able to finish even one flyover in Vijayawada.
