Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Way Behind Other Parties In AP? - Sakshi Post

While the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and its Opposition the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) have stepped up their game with preparations for the upcoming elections, the Jana Sena Party headed by actor Pawan Kalyan is lagging way behind his opponents.

Both the TDP and YSRCP have already started finalizing their lists of candidates.

The Leader of the Opposition Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has already launched his Campaign ‘Samara Sankharaavam,’ the TDP Supremo has also announced that he would hit the campaign trail from Wednesday, March 13. Both the parties are seen getting ready with their manifestos before.

The Jana Sena Party Chief has not come out with any appealing promises for the people.

Pawan’s lack of seriousness was evident from the announcement on Saturday that he would make it a point to pay an amount of Rs 8,000 per acre to each farmer every year as an investment support fund.

He also assured to link the agriculture sector with the employment Guarantee programme.

The first one has already been implemented by the Government of Telangana for the past year and recently, it was implemented in Andhra Pradesh as well under the ‘Annadata Sukhibhava’ scheme. The Centre had also introduced a similar scheme in the name of PM-Kisan scheme.

Even the YSR Congress party president announced the implementation of the scheme during his Praja Sankalpa Yatra padayatra. He assured to provide Rs 12,500 as investment support fund to every farmer in the state.
