Amaravati/Hyderabad: The data theft fraud by IT Grids Company in Hyderabad has sent the alarm bells ringing in IT companies that are providing services to the Telugu Desam Party offices in both Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh.

Reports say that the TDP senior leaders have given standing instructions to the company heads to clear any kind of sensitive/controversial data in their hard disks. Apparently, there are more than 13 IT firms working for the Party.

Rumours suggest that IT Minister Nara Lokesh's cronies have alerted companies which have tie-ups with the party to be careful and not store any kind of Party data with them.

They have been advised to clear data related to the party from their computer peripherals. They have also been told not to answer any questions if anybody asked them about the data theft scam and continue with their regular business.

The TDP-allied IT companies work for different government departments in AP as service providers and the AP government pays them for their services from the state coffers.

Some of them have also signed MoUs for these services. Pronix IT Solutions Pvt Ltd., EP Soft Solutions Pvt Ltd., IT Grids India Pvt Ltd., Code Tree Software Solutions Pvt Ltd., PL Data Centers Private Ltd., PVR Technologies, Shreya Computers, InventG Enterprises Pvt Ltd., Prospecta Technologies India Pvt Ltd., Allcor Integrated Services Pvt Ltd., Srija Solutions Pvt Lts., Meghana Geomatics Pvt Ltd., Wasar Labs It Solutions are some of the companies working for the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

It is alleged that the stolen voter data was also shared with some of these companies.
