Chandrababu Politicises Pulwama Terror Attack

Chandrababu Naidu - Sakshi Post

Andhra Pradesh chief minister has, in the most shocking manner, chosen to politicise the Pulwama terror attack in which 45 CRPF soldiers were martyred on February 14 on the J & K highway. Earlier, West Bengal chief minister, Mamata Banerjee had also made a controversial statement regarding the terror attack and questioned its timing, linking it to Lok Sabha polls. Mamata also pointed a finger at the BJP and RSS for creating communal tension in the wake of the Pulwama terror attack.

Not to be left far behind, Chandrababu Naidu, is reported to have told his party leaders in a teleconference. Projecting himself as a frontranking nationalist, Chandrababu is said to have asserted that TDP would not make any compromises with national security, for which the AP chief minister is being seen as politicising a national tragedy. While any citizen or political leader holding office cannot be faulted for saying this, Chandrababu after 4 years as an ally, seems to have suddenly woken up to the BJP's 'faults'. It will not be tolerated if the country is pledged for political gain, he is reported to have said.

The AP chief minister further cited the example of Godhra riots, calling it a genocide. Further, Chandrababu blamed the BJP for the political turmoil in Jammu and Kashmir. It appears as if Chandrababu is more intent on blaming PM Modi than anything else, analysts said.
