Naga Babu Latest Satire On Nara Lokesh

Naga Babu and Nara Lokesh - Sakshi Post

Actor Naga Babu recently posted a video on his YouTube channel mocking Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh and ABN Andhra Jyothi channel which carried out an exclusive feature of Lokesh's Dawos summit trip.

However, the actor took down the video as the Channel sent a copyright claim. In another video posted on Thursday, Naga Babu explained the scenario where he received a mail from ABN asking him to remove the video from his YouTube channel else the video will receive a copyright strike further threatening to report against his channel to the YouTube.

Questioning ABN's 'Freedom of Expression' policy, he said, "The news channels conveniently utilize the freedom of expression for itself but for others, they try to suppress."

Naga Babu also asserted that nobody can suppress his freedom of expression and that his videos reach crores of people via his YouTube channel which has 1.3 lakh subscribers.

He said, "I have every right to use 'Freedom of Expression' as a civilian. You (ABN) can telecast exclusive and stories mocking us but we don't have a right to question them. You may have stopped my video but will not stop my expression or journey. Taking down one video doesn't affect me or my channel in any way."

He called ABN-Andhra Jyothi owner Radha Krishna - 'CBN Bhajana Krishna' and dubbed the channel as 'CBN Chandra Jyothi' (CBN stands for Chandrababu Naidu).

Stating that the channel character-assassinated them when a woman (Sri Reddy) abused the Mega brothers' mother last year by defending her saying it's normal, Naga Babu questioned as to how is it different when he called them out in a similar way.

He went on to say that the Channel's recent report on Nara Lokesh's Davos trip yielded nothing and termed it as 'Bhajana'. Pointing out the report accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of taking away the proposed investment in AP, the actor ridiculed the idea by questioning whether the PM doesn't have any other important stuff to dwell on.

Saying that the TDP leaders claim of state crisis changes into development during conferences, he further asked as to why the channel didn't reveal the name of the industrialist who offered to invest Rs 5,000 crore in AP against the wishes of PM Modi.

In conclusion, Naga Babu shared that while he has the right for freedom of expression, he won't stoop to the level of the Channel which portrayed the usage of unparliamentary language as normal.
