IYR Krishna Rao Exposes AP Chief Minister’s False Claims

Former chief secretary of Andhra Pradesh IYR Krishna Rao nailed AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu's claims in tweet after tweet. To Chandrababu's tweet on Friday which described the Union budget as a post-dated cheque drawn on a collapsing bank, the former IAS official asked the AP chief minister whether the cheques issued to DWCRA groups in the state were pre-dated ones.
Are the cheques to dwacra groups predated? Just got a doubt https://t.co/FijdeURrJz — IYRKRao , Retd IAS (@IYRKRao) February 1, 2019
To the AP chief minister's tweet questioning whose money the Centre was giving, IYR Krishna Rao replied that those who earlier claimed that no funds had been given, are now questioning whose money is being given. In other words, the AP chief minister is admitting that the Centre is disbursing funds, the former bureaucrat implied.
— N Chandrababu Naidu (@ncbn) February 1, 2019 సంతోషం. — IYRKRao , Retd IAS (@IYRKRao) February 1, 2019
The former IAS official also lambasted the TDP for the capital expenditure of Rs.55,000 cr on Amaravati, to which the Cabinet had lent its nod. IYR Krishna Rao pointed out that the Central budget with Rs. 27 lakh cr and a debt of Rs. 7 lakh, capital expenditure is Rs.336,000 cr. In contrast, for a budget of Rs. 130000 cr, the cabinet approved a capital expenditure of Rs. 55,000 cr. He wondered whether the AP government could explain how it is serviced.
