Chinese Workers Better Than You: Chandrababu Insults Indian Engineers

Tirupati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu while inaugurating TCL industrial park, spoke to the media and said, a silicon city would come up near the Renigunta airport. This silicon city is being built in 1000 acres, he said.

Strangely enough, Chandrababu chose the occasion to criticise Indian engineers comparing them with their Chinese counterparts. He said Chinese engineers assured him that they would complete the project in eight months, even when he offered nine months of time.

In contrast, according to him, Indian engineers backed off when he gave them the same time frame of 9 months. He was all praise for the commitment of Chinese while scoffing at local engineers.

Chandrababu Naidu perhaps needs a reality check on his own claims of turning Amaravati into a global destination and a Singapore-like capital. He needs to be nudged into looking at the picture on the ground at the much-touted (in his own speeches) 'world-class' capital.
