Kanna Cries Foul Over BJP MLA House Arrest In Tadepalligudem

BJP Andhra Pradesh president Kanna Lakshminarayana - Sakshi Post

Vijayawada: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Andhra Pradesh unit president Kanna Lakshminarayana today said that the State was being ruled by demons. Expressing his anger over the house arrest of former minister and BJP leader Paidikondala Manikyala Rao, he said that no one was safe in the State. Meanwhile, the police stopped the BJP Chief's vehicle near the Kanaka Durga Bridge here.

Kanna Lakshminarayana said he was on his way to visit the BJP MLA who was in a critical condition when the police stopped him. "No one seems to be safe in this State. There was a murder attempt on Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Who will take responsibility for leaders of the Opposition parties?" he asked the police. He demanded to know why Manikyala Rao was arrested for no reason.

Before leaving to Tadepalligudem, Kanna Lakshminarayana called off the party core commitee meeting. BJP leaders GVL Narasimha Rao and Kavuri Sambasiva Rao have also been house arrested. Left with no choice, Kanna’s followers protested outside his house.
