Rahul Gandhi Visits Rayalaseema, To Hold Meeting At Kurnool

Kurnool: Congress party President Rahul Gandhi arrived in Kurnool today. He is expected to first visit the family members of former Chief Minister Damodaram Sanjeevaiah before landing at the Shamshabad Airport in Hyderabad and leaving to Kurnool by a chartered flight.

Rahul will be accompanied by former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, AICC Secretary Oommen Chandy and AP PCC Chief Raghuveera Reddy.

The Congress President will then participate in an interactive session with local students at Byreddy Convention Centre here. The session will be followed by his visit to the residence of former CM Kotla Vijaya Bhasker Reddy. He will pay tributes to the late CM.

At 4 pm, Rahul will address a public meeting at the STBC College ground here. Later, after returning to Hyderabad, he will meet TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy, former CLP leader Jana Reddy and former legislative Council leader Shabbir Ali.

The announcement of the TPCC committees for the preparations to the upcoming elections is expected to made this evening.
