Chandrababu Misused Central Funds For Capital Development: Kanna

BJP AP president Kanna Lakshminarayana - Sakshi Post

Amaravati: BJP Andhra Pradesh president Kanna Lakshminarayana slammed state Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and said that the AP CM had misused the funds released by the Central government for capital city development. Till date the TDP government has not constructed one concrete building in the capital, he said.

Talking to media here today after hoisting the National Flag at state BJP office on the occasion of 72 Independence Day, Kanna questioned as to why was Chandrababu not making the master plan for Amaravati public. "Have to put the master plan in a locker?" He demanded the AP CM to account for Rs 2000 crore funds released for development of capital city.

The BJP leader criticised Chandrababu and named him as traitor of AP people. It was unfortunate that TDP was joining hands with Congress party, which was instrumental in doing injustice to the state. He took this opportunity to inform the media that all the development that was happening in the rural areas was due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He added that the TDP government had not spent a single paise on rural development.

He thanked PM Modi for announcing the Ayushman Bharat scheme on this Independence Day and said that the medical scheme would provide service to 10 crore people for free in the first phase. He said that the scheme would be implemented from September 25.
