Minister Nara Lokesh exhibiting his anger at ZP chairman in Kurnool - Sakshi Post

Kurnool: In an unusual strange incident, Andhra Pradesh panchayat raj minister Nara Lokesh exhibited his impatience and was also seen shouting at the organisers of the ZP building inauguration programme here on Monday evening.

After inaugurating the new ZP building, which was built at a cost of Rs 3.67 crores and also a statue of Gautam Buddha, ZP chairman Mallela Rajashekar wanted the minister to have a look at the interiors of the premises, as well as conduct a review meeting with the employees.

But the minister had no time for all these. He was insisting on closing the programme at the earliest. Later after persistent persuasion by the ZP chairman, Lokesh lost his cool and heard telling the chairman in no uncertain terms, "I am already late... Haven't I inaugurated the building? How many times should I tell you..." Lokesh yelling these words in front of all the people embarassed Rajashekar. In fact all the ZP staff and others who had attended the event were disappointed by Lokesh's behaviour and were surprised that the minister could not even spend 10 minutes of his time there.

At yet another event today, Lokesh, who was on a two-day tour to Kurnool, had to face the wrath of women. Lokesh was at Nagalapuram in Guduru mandal to check the agricultural crops. Later while interacting with the local people, he was in for a surprise.

The women of Nagalapuram demanded that the minister solve their drinking water problems. They explained that there was severe drinking water crisis in their region that it should be addressed without further delay. But the minister made it clear that permanent solution to their drinking water problems was impossible. He said they would supply drinking water only through water tankers.
