AI Plane From Vijayawada Makes Emergency Landing at Delhi

An Air India plane, with over 100 passengers and crew onboard, from Vijayawada on Wednesday made an emergency landing at the IGI airport here due to a technical glitch in the aircraft.
The aircraft, an Airbus A-319, landed safely and all passengers were safe. Full emergency was declared about 11:15 am for Air India flight AI-460 coming to Delhi from Vijaywada after the pilot informed Delhi Air Traffic Control about some issues on the plane's engine. The plane landed safely at about 11:20 am.
Confirming the incident, an Air India spokesperson said the emergency landing was sought for its Vijaywada-Delhi flight, which had 101 passengers onboard, after some technical glitch was reported in one of the Airbus A-319 aircraft.
