Kanchipuram: South Indian actress Trisha is proving to be a role model for other stars. She has taken part in constructing toilets for people of Nemali village in Kacheepuram district, Tamil Nadu as part of the Swatch Bharath campaign. A picture of her pouring cement and doing some plastering of has been doing rounds on social media.

The Tamil actress was conferred with UNICEF celebrity advocate status in November. Trisha will champion the rights of children including adolescents and young people
as UNICEF's flag-bearer.

Trisha is also making efforts to address issues such as anaemia, child marriage, child labour and child abuse, in various parts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Isn't this kind
of social commitment among stars and celebrities, rare?
