Actress Gets Engaged, Marriage Scheduled For May

Bengaluru: Popular Kannada actress Amulya got engaged to Jagadish R Chandra, son of former corporator GH Ramachandra on Monday.

The wedding is scheduled to take place in May. Amulya made her acting debut as a child artiste in 2001. As an adult, her first film was Cheluvina Chittara (2007) opposite Ganesh. She went on to work in films such as Chaitrada Chandrama, Naanu Nanna Kanasu, Shravani Subrahaanya and Gajakesari. Her work in Shravani Subrahamanya fetched her a Filmfare Award in the best actress category.

The engagement was held in Kengeri near Bengaluru and was attended by several film and TV personalities.
