7 Teachers From Telangana, 10 From AP Bag National Award

New Delhi: As many as seven teachers from Telangana and 10 from Andhra Pradesh have bagged national awards for their meritorious and ideal performance. The Vice President M. Venkaian Naidu conferred the awards on Tuesday on the occasion of teacher's day in New Delhi.
Among 219 teachers of both the state’s 17 members have been selected for the national award. Of the seven teachers from Telangana, four are primary school teachers and three are secondary school teachers. Similarly, among the 10 teachers, six are primary school teachers and three are secondary school teachers. A primary school teacher from AP was also bagged the award in the Sainik School Society Category.
The teachers from Telangana include Valgot Kishan, Kukkamudi Janardhan, Manthati Narayana, Nunugonda Vijayalaxmi, Gundeti Yogeshwar, Kandukuri Surendar and Potta Ramarao and the teachers from AP are Sanjaya Kumar Panda, Gorantla Srinivasa Rao, Chilukuri Srinivasa Rao, Nalleboyina Vimala Kumari, Yerra SSGS Chakravarthi, Gotteti Ravi, Chaganti Sreenivasa Rao, Bontalakoti Sankara Rao, D. Dharma Raju, Lokananda Reddy.
They were presented a medal, certificate and reward of Rs50,000 by the Vice-president Venkaiah Naidu on Teacher's day.
