5 Missing Girls From Hyderabad Traced In Vizag

Hyderabad: Five girl students of class 7 at Pragati Vidyaniketan at Amberpet in city who went missing since Thursday have been traced Vishakapatnam on Friday.

Police investigating the missing case traced the girls through their mobile signals after midnight and focused their efforts in the direction. First the signal was somewhere near Vijayawada-Gannavaram area. One of girls was carrying a mobile picked the call from her parents but immediately cut the call.

Four teams of police were deputed on the task and by afternoon they found the girls in Vizag. They are being brought to Hyderabad.

Parents of Sangeetha, Nandini, Prathibha, Srinidhi and Preethi studying at Pragati Vidyaniketan in Bapujinagar in Amberpet in the city lodged a complaint with the police as they did not return from school till night. They reported to have took with them some clothes saying that there was function at the school.

"They must traveling on a train or in a bus," inspector Anand Kumar said after their mobile signal could be tracked in Vijayawada area. He assured the parents that they will be able to trace them very soon. The parents are shocked by their daughters' missing.
