YS Jagan Congratulates Papineni Shivashankar for Winning Sahitya Academy Award

YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy congratulated author Papineni Shiva Shankar and Nagalla Guru Prasad Rao for the winning the Central Sahitya Akademi award.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, he lauded their services to Telugu literature. Papineneni Sivashankar has been chosen for Central Sahitya Academy Award for his anthology of poems 'Rajani Gandha.'' Papineni is a native of Nekkallu in Tullur mandal of Guntur district. The Sahitya Academy also announced Bhasha Samman Award for Nagilla Guruprasad Chowdary.

Left of the centre writer Shiva Shankar would be given cash award and a plaque at a function to be held in February 2017.
