21 Students Suspended For Ragging In Kerala

Malappuram: Nearly 21 students of a government medical college in Kerala have been suspended following ragging allegations. The incident took place in Manjeri town of Malappuram district.

The freshmen around 40 students of MBBS course said that they were stripped naked, made to clean toilets and drink polluted water.

Notably, the incident comes a few days after eight students of a government polytechnic college in Kottayam district were booked for ragging their junior in the hostel. A first year student has been hospitalised with kidney damage after he was brutally ragged by eight senior students.
