Woman Shoots Boyfriend Dead In YouTube Stunt Gone Wrong

A 19-year-old pregnant teenager shot dead her boyfriend in a YouTube stunt which went wrong. Monalisa Perez and her boyfriend, Pedro Ruiz, did the stunt to have more followers. Perez fired at him and he held a book believing that it would stop the bullet. His aunt, Claudia Ruiz, said, “He had told me about that idea and I said, ‘Don’t do it. Don’t do it. Why are you going to use a gun? Why?”.
The stunt was done in the presence of their three-year-old daughter and some neighbours who came in troops to watch it. Perez was expecting their second child in September. County attorney James Brue said that he handgun was a .50-calibre Desert Eagle and the book used to guard was mere encyclopedia hard-cover.
The accused told the officials that she was reluctant to do the stunt but on compulsion of her boyfriend she participated in it.
