Woman, Daughter End Life Over Thrashing of Son

A woman and her daughter ended their lives after they felt deeply insulted at their son being thrashed by neighbours. The incident occurred in Dasarlapalli village of V Kota mandal in Chittoor district on Friday morning.

According to the police, a youth tried to shoot a neighbour bathing in her bathroom and was caught red-handed. He was given a round thrashing by the neighbours. Ever since, his mother Anasuyamma (43) and sister Sunitha (18) were depressed as they were deeply insulted. On Friday morning, hey both hanged selves from the ceiling.

The police were informed about the incident and they shifted the body for post-mortem.
