TRS to be merged in NDA after GHMC elections: Palavai

Hyderabad: Congress Senior leader Palvai Govardhan Reddy said on Thursday that after the upcoming GHMC elections, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi will join the Central ruling alliance, the National Democratic Alliance

Govardhan Reddy said in a statement that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has been in the talks with BJP warhorses for a quite some time to make his daughter and Nizambad MP Kavitha join the central NDA-led cabinet.

Taking potshots at TRS Chief at the press meet, Palvai said KCR is leaning towards NDA to come out of the allegations of wrong decisions taken by the Central Ministry of Labour on which CBI is carrying out a probe, when he was in charge.

Palvai Govardhan Reddy criticised KCR for not keeping his word of merging his party TRS in Congress after Telangana State was formed.
