Akhil’s Connection With Pawan Kalyan’s Atharintiki Daaredi

Akhil Akkineni Next Movie: Tollywood's next generation star Akhil Akkineni sent shock waves in the Telugu film industry with his recent comment over his favourite film. Unlike the other actors who inherited the legacy of their familial precedents in Tollywood, Akhil's favourite Telugu movie is nowhere related to the movies in which his grandfather ANR, father Nagarjuna or brother Naga Chaitanya played roles. It is quite natural that actors like Ram Charan and Daggubati Rana would chose a movie that starred Chiranjeevi or Venkatesh etc when asked about their favourite film. But, Akhil, who is fresh from his role in his previous flick "Hello!," chose a Power star Pawan Kalyan's film as his favourite one.

Guess what Akhil said when asked about his favourite Telugu film? It is Pawan Kalyan-starrer Atharintiki Daaredi, directed by Trivikram Srinivas. To the surprise of many, Akhil said he liked the 2013 blockbuster the most. With this, rumours of Akhil's interest in working with Trivikram are emerging in the Tollywood town.

On the other side, speculation is rife that some of the sequences in Akhil's upcoming film 'Majnu' have certain sequences which have close resemblance with Atharintiki Daaredi. Majnu is coming in as an entertainer with a story inspired by Bollywood hit films Bachna Ae Haseeno’ and 'Ye Jawani Hai Deewani’ .

Meanwhile, Nagarjuna in a recent interview revealed Bollywood top director Karan Johar's interest in launching Akhil in Hindi films. But then, Nagarjuna wants Akhil to concentrate on his acting skills and groom himself before the time comes for the bigger stage.
