When Vijay Devarakonda’s Tweet Brought KTR Knocking At His Door

Vijay Devarakonda has been making the news for all the right reasons. The actor is riding high on the success of his latest film Mahanati and we don't have to tell you the kind of recognition the actor got for his role in Arjun Reddy which is being hailed a cult film. Why not? Arjun Reddy set a new benchmark in Telugu cinema. His next is titled Geetha Govindam has already created a lot of buzz in filmnagar circles.

The actor recently won best actor award at filmfare for his outstanding performance in Arjun Reddy. Soon after, he tweeted that he was going to auction his award and donate the proceeds to Telangana chief minister relief fund.

This piece of news naturally travelled like wildfire and reached Telangana Panchayat Raj and IT minister KT Rama Rao. While congratulating the actor, he said he would meet him to discuss how Vijay's proposal could be taken forward.

But little did Vijay expect that his tweet would bring KTR knocking at his doors. The IT Minister not only paid the Tollywood sensation a visit but also had lunch with his family.

An elated Vijay shared pictures of the rendevoua on Twitter with his fans calling KTR his favorite leader.
