Has TV9 Ex-CEO Ravi Prakash Left The Country?

Former TV9 CEO Ravi Prakash filed a lunch motion petition in the Telangana High Court seeking immediate hearing of his case. Ravi Prakash who is wanted by the Cyberabad police in a case of forgery and data theft, filed a motion for urgent hearing in the High Court. His plea however, was struck down by the court.

Rumours are afoot that the former CEO of TV9 has fled the country. The Cyberabad police had sent him two notices to appear before it, but he failed to do so, though he had earlier claimed on his show a day before he was sacked as the CEO of TV9, that he was not going anywhere. It may be recalled that Ravi Prakash has been accused of forgery and data theft by the new management of the media company.

It remains to be seen as to what the Cyberabad police would do next in the matter. It is learnt that the cops are in hot pursuit of the well-known TV personality. If Ravi Prakash is abroad, as the rumour goes, bringing him back to India, would be a slightly protracted affair.
