TRS Polling Agent Arrested For Clicking Photo With EVMs

Malkajgiri: A Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) polling agent was arrested on Saturday over his alleged unauthorized entry into a strong room and clicking a picture with Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

The accused, identified as N Venkatesh, a polling agent of Malkajgiri constituency candidate Marri Rajasekhar Reddy and husband of Keesara Sarpanch Madhuri.

As per the details given by the police, the accused, who was attending as the poll agent of TRS Lok Sabha candidate from Malkajgiri constituency entered the strongroom where the EVMs used in the polls were kept in Bogram area.

A case has been registered against the local TRS Leader, who would be sent to judicial remand.
