Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) on Thursday clarified that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) would not form alliances with any party in the upcoming elections. Our alliance will be with the people of the State, he added. Speaking to media on the sidelines of the 'Pragathi Nivedana Sabha' meeting's location at Kongara Kalan in Ibrahimpatnam Mandal, he said that the ruling party would score a resounding victory by going it alone, in the upcoming elections. The minister inspected the arrangements for the TRS public meeting here.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR), the TRS government brought in revolutionary and qualitative changes in the State, the TRS leader said. Adding that the Telangana government was the only government in the country to implement welfare schemes like Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Beema and Kanti Velugu, he said that the TRS government was responsible for waiving farm loans worth Rs 17,000 crore.
