Teen Wakes Up In Middle Of His Funeral

Bengaluru: A 17-year-old boy presumed to be dead woke up on his way to funeral. Kumar Marewad suffered from high fever after being bitten a dog.

Subsequently he was admitted to a private hospital and put on ventilator. However, the doctors informed his family members that Kumar may not survive as the infection has spread dangerously.

Kumar’s family took him to home after bleak chances of survival. Later, as they didn’t see any movement in his body, they thought he was dead and arranged for his funeral. But to their dismay, Kumar woke up and now has been admitted to a private hospital. His condition is stated to be critical.

Kumar is a construction labourer and has a younger brother who is physically challenged. His family is now seeking help for Kumar’s treatment as he is the only breadwinner.
