TDP's damage control: Begins Bayyaram yatra

It seems TDP is in the damage control mode. With a senior leader who had a strong hold over Telangana leaving the party for good, TDP is trying to salvage the party image. The first step in this direction is Bayyaram yatra.

TDP leaders are on their way to Bayyaram to stage a dharna to demanding that government construct a  steel plant in Khammam.

Five MLAs and two MLCs are taking part in the dharna.

Talking to he media, TDP leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao said that steel plant must be soon set up in Khammam district. The leaders warned of massive agitation if the iron ore moved from Bayyaram to Vizag Steel Plant.
