T-JACs call for Telangana bandh on Mar 24

Three Joint Action Committees (JACs) called for Telangana bandh on March 24 in protest against the arrest of T leaders during the sadak bandh.

Telangana People’s Associations JAC, students JAC and OU JAC expressed anguish over the arrest of Telangana leaders. Gajjala Kantham, People’s Associations JAC chairman demanded that all the arrested leaders and pro-Telangana workers should be released before 4 pm on Saturday. He also asked all the Telangana MLAs and MLCs not to attend the Assembly and Council sessions on Saturday. He appealed to the people’s representatives, traders and RTC employees to cooperate and extend support for the bandh on March 24. He warned that the consequences would be severe if the Government made any attempt to thwart the T movement. T students JAC chairman Rajaram yadav and OU JAC leader Pidamarthi Ravi  also appealed for the support.
