Swiss, Rado watches, iPads and Laptops to lure voters

Bengaluru: Ahead of the MLC elections in Karnataka scheduled for December 27, political parties have started luring voters by distributing luxury items like Swiss, Rado watches in Kolaar area and   costly items like smart phones, iPads, laptops in  Dharwad, Bagalkot and Vijayapuri districts. 
 
Anparty leader, who wants to be unnamed, said that around Rs 20,000 is being spent for each Rado watch. In Kodugu area, scotch whiskey bottles of top notch brands like Johnnie Walker and Black Label were being distributed, he added. In the coming up election, it is likely that 7000-9500 voters would take part in the voting.
