Swearing-in ceremonies only after June 2 - Sakshi Post

Even though the results of assembly elections will be available by the evening of May 16, the swearing-in of the new state governments would take place only on or after June 2, the appointed day for the division of the state.

The new governments can be formed after that date only. It is not possible to complete the swearing -in ceremonies before the appointed date.

Governor E.S.L.Narasimhan will administer the oath of office and secrecy to both the chief ministers. He held discussions with the concerned officials on the same.

Further, there is no hard rule that the chief minister of Seemandhra has to swear in at Hyderabad only. He can do it at any place in Seemandhra too. But, it is not possible for both the chief ministers to swear in at the same time.
