Shinde confirms time, date for all-party meet on 'T'

Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde on Thursday officially announced that the Centre has convened an all-party meeting on the Telangana statehood issue on December 28.

After meeting Telangana Congress MPS, the home minister spoke to news men in New Delhi confirming that an all-party meeting would be held at 10.30 am on December 28 in his office.

When reporters asked about how many representatives from each party should be called, he said that was yet to be decided. But Telangana congress MPS have demanded that the Centre call just one representative from each party.

SP View: If the Centre allows many representatives, it would result in too many opinions from the parties. The guess- Centre will perhaps accept 'T'-Congress MPs' demand that it should call only one representative.
