Shamshabad airport put on high alert

The death of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru has created a tense environment across the country.

To avert possible consequences, Shamshabad airport, Hyderabad has been put on high alert. Security across other airports in India, including Delhi, Mumbai has been tightened. Curfew in Jammu and Kashmir continues till the law and order situation comes under control.
