SCR to Run Special Train Between Secunderabad-Kakinada Port

Hyderabad: South Central Railway will run 10 Dasara festival special trains between Secunderabad and Kakinada Port (in Andhra Pradesh) to clear extra festive rush.

Secunderabad - Kakinada Port special train (train no 07011) will depart from Secunderabad station at 19:15 hrs on October 4, 11, 18, 25 and November 1 and arrive Kakinada Port at 05:45 hrs the next day, an SCR release said.

In the return journey, Kakinada Port - Secunderabad special train (train no. 07012) will run from Kakinada Port station on October 5, 12, 19, 26 and November 2 at 17:30 hrs and will arrive at Secunderabad station at 04:30 hrs the next day, it said.

Enroute, the trains will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot and Kakinada Town stations in both the directions.

The special trains will have 15 coaches with one AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, ten Sleeper Class and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches, the release added.
