Rs2 Lakh Cash Stolen From Chiranjeevi’s House; Worker Arrested  

Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, Rs2 lakh cash was stolen from megastar Chiranjeevi's house in Jubilee Hills in the city. However, this was not a regular house burglary by some professional thieves but it was complained that Chiranjeevi's domestic worker Chennaiah stole the money over a period of time. About Rs2 lakh in cash was stolen from the house in the past few months.

Chiranjeevi's assistant lodged a complaint about the theft with the police on Monday. Chennaiah was taken into custody and the police are investigating the case. The police reportedly recovered the cash and some other documents related to properties.

On the work front, Chiranjeevi is teaming up with Surender Reddy for Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, a biopic on freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Being bankrolled by Ram Charan, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nayanthara, Kiccha Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi and Jagapathi Babu in key roles.

The period drama is slated to release next year.
