RGV Dedicates Jayamalini Song To Nandi Awards Fiasco

If there's a hot controversy, can RGV be behind? Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma has slammed the Nandi awards fiasco in his own inimitable way. He says he is upset at Pawan Kalyan not getting any Nandi for Sardar Gabbar Singh.
He also slammed Balakrishna-starrer Legend getting nine Nandi awards with a song of Jayamalini from Chanakya chandragupta.
The lyrics say Jayamalini is the Nandi and Rao Gopala Rao, who is also seen in the video, as the jury member. The song also uses words like ''Kammadanam'' and implicitly refers to the caste factor in the jury selection.

The Nandi awards for 2014, 2015 and 2016 announced by the Andhra Pradesh Government have become controversial as several film personalities have alleged that there was cast bias and nepotism in the selection.
