Rejected By Girl, Man Commits Suicide By Jumping Off Apartment While On Call

Hyderabad: A software engineer on Monday committed suicide by jumping off an apartment in Miyapur after being rejected by a girl.

Jagadish, who belonged to Gollacherla village of Dornakal mandal in Mahabubabad district, was staying in Janapriya apartment in Miyapur and worked in a software company in Hitech City area. Some time back, he proposed to a girl staying in his neighborhood. However, the girl rejected his proposal as she was already in a relationship with some other man.

As Jagadish was still after her, the girl had shifted to some other place a week back. Through a friend of hers, Jagadish came into contact with the girl on the phone and he told her that he had no purpose living without her.

Even as the girl was trying to convince him, Jagadish announced that he was going to die and jumped from the fifth floor of the building. By the time the girl rushed to the spot, he was lying dead in a pool of blood.

However, the family members who reached the place after learning about the death that it could be a murder. Police are investigating the case.
