Rangasthalam Marks Samantha’s Eighth Film To Enter 100 Crore Club

Hyderabad: For Samantha Akkineni, our Ramalakshmi from Rangasthalam, can't contain her happiness after the success of her latest film. She has added another feather to her hat.
Within four days of the film’s release it has entered the 100 crore club and what makes this even more better is that this is Sam's eighth film to have joined the 100 crore club.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala has confirmed this on Twitter "#Rangasthalam is @Samanthaprabhu2 's 8th Rs 100 Cr Movie.". Isn’t this great news, eh? Here's the list of movies to have joined this club: Mersal, Theri, Kaththi, Janatha Garage, Attarintiki Daredi, Dookudu, 24theMove and Rangasthalam.

The film helmed by Sukumar is considered his best output and Ram Charan’s exemplary work is being much talked about. It should be also noted that Cherry’s better half Upasana is also involved in the success of Rangasthalam. She was often seen promoting the film on her Twitter handle in each and every possible way. From the movie’s first look to the release date, she shared everything on the micro-blogging site.
The movie is being produced under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music for the movie. The film boasts of a stellar cast including Aadhi, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Pooja Hedge, and Anasuya who are seen in key roles.
