YS Jagan Padayatra Enters Ichchapuram

Leader of the opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's mass outreach program Praja Sankalpa Yatra entered Ichchapuram constituency on Day 336 after successfully touring across the State over a span of 14 months.

On Wednesday, YS Jagan arrived in Ichchapuram at Thalabhadra Junction to a grand welcome by the locals. Former MLAs Piriya Sai Raj, Lallu, YSRCP leaders Narthu Ramarao and party workers welcomed the people's leader.

YS Jagan began his padayatra from the night camp and proceeded towards Haripuram, Ambugam, Ranigam, Mamidipalli, Patrapuram Cross and Turakashasanam Cross. While scores of people poured out their woes to YS Jagan, villagers welcomed him with open arms.

Loharibandha Kidney disease victims meet YS Jagan

Locals in the constituency and former ZPTC member Andala Sheshagiri said to YS Jagan, "Of the 5,500 members living across nine villages under Loharibandha panchayat, 1,500 people were suffering from kidney-related ailments. In the last six months, around 70 victims have died." They added that Rs 8,000 is being spent on dialysis every month. "My relatives had collected donations worth Rs 35 lakhs for my kidney transplant treatment and eye surgery. Now, the TDP leaders are blocking the CM relief fund because I am a YSRCP sympathiser," said Nalla Ramesh of Gouduguranta village

"Even in case of Titli victims, only the ones who have the support of TDP leaders are getting government relief assistance. I lost 120 coconut trees in the cyclone," said Singapuram Krishnamma of Haripuram said:

"This government is not concerned about the Benthu area. As per the State government's Gazette, we should be recognised as STs. In the past, we had been given the documents and then the program was scrapped after Dr YSR's demise," said Rajanikumar Dolai of Kaviti village
