Rebel Partymen in TRS On The Rise

Kancharla Chandra Shekar Reddy interacting with the public - Sakshi Post

Ibrahimpatnam (Ranga Reddy district) : TRS candidates are facing a setback because of rebel candidates. Candidates who won with ticket from other parties and later shifted their loyalties to the TRS are expected to bear the brunt, if the buzz doing the rounds in political circles is any indication.

Candidates who contested from TRS and lost in previous elections are not supporting the existing candidates. KCR has given tickets to the candidates who switched parties after winning elections. Without any announcement of assurance from KCR, the rebels are making it hard for the current candidates. This seems to be the prevailing situation in most of the constituencies. This issue is making the headlines after Manchireddy Kishan Reddy’s candidature got confirmed.

2014 elections he won a seat on a TDP ticket and later shifted to TRS. In the same election Kancharla Chandra Shekar Reddy secured over 22000 votes but this time he is not the candidate. This has caused him to rebel and he has started campaigning against Manchi Reddy. While interacting with the public in Bandaravirala on Friday he pleaded with them not to vote for Manchi Reddy. This problem is being faced by many a canditates who won on other party tickets and later shifted to TRS.
