Dalits Will Teach Chandrababu a Lesson: Mothkupalli

Mothkupalli Narsimhulu, Nara Chandrababu - Sakshi Post

Former minister and senior TDP leader, Mothkupalli Narsimhulu accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Nara Chandrababu of betraying Dalits and cheating them. Naidu asked whether anyone would want to be born a Dalit. The Telugu Desam party today bears no semblance to the party founded by NTR, who dreamt of an egalitarian party and runs contrary to all the principles of Babasaheb Ambedkar. All that Dalits seek is self-esteem, he said and lambasted Chandrababu for insulting the community.

Narsimhulu said that it was thanks to PM Narendra Modi that Chandrababu Naidu could wriggle out of the notes-for-votes case. He appealed to the people of Andhra Pradesh to reject Chandrababu who had looted the state indiscriminately.

When asked about TDP MP CM Ramesh's fast for the Kadapa steel plant, Narsimhulu replied cheekily that one could fast the way Ramesh has been fasting for any length of time.

Narsimhulu pointed out that he had served the parties for more than three decades as a true follower of NTR. Chandrababu rewarded him with lies and cheating, he said. He said that he had not sought any position. The former minister said that he was planning to visit the Tirumala shrine on his birthday on December 11, with the sole intention of praying to Lord Venkateswara to rescue the people of Andhra Pradesh from the clutches of Chandrababu Naidu.

Chandrababu's Dalit Teja in villages is nothing but an attempt at betrayal and cheating once again, he said. Addressing Chandrababu he said: "It is our misfortune to have you as chief minister." The AP chief minister should apologize to the Dalit communities first and then speak in today's meeting, he added.

The former senior leader from TDP  pointed out that Chandrababu had done nothing for Dalits over the years, and in fact, created a rift between different Dalit groups. Chandrababu pitted Malas and Madigas for more than 20 years, he alleged. He added that he was senior to Chandrababu in the TDP.

The former minister asked Dalits not to fall for crocodile tears being shed by the AP CM. "Dalits will not trust you," he said. He has always tried to use Dalits as a vote bank, he said. Chandrababu has always used and discarded Dalits, he alleged.

Narsimhulu pointed out that the TDP under Chandrababu did not nominate a Dalit to the Rajya Sabha. He ignored Dalit leaders in the party like Ravula Kishore, Pratibha Bharati and Pushparaj. The AP CM mortgaged the party to rich industrialists, said Narsimhulu.

Chandrababu called had himself a 'pedda madiga' (senior Dalit). "Why don't you claim to be one today?"

The manner in which Nayee Brahmins were humiliated by the AP chief minister was shocking he said. He asked: "what is wrong in their demand?" Chandrababu wrote to the Centre saying that lawyers among BCs were not eligible to become judges. This shows the opinion he has of them. Similarly, his cabinet colleague Adinarayana Reddy says SCs are not hygienic and should have been dismissed right away, he said.

Mothkupalli said that Dalits would teach Chandrababu a lesson in the upcoming elections.
