Pawan’s Agnathavasi Rakes in More Moolah Before Theatrical Release

The collaboration of Power star Pawan Kalyan and Ace director Trivikram Srinivas for a movie itself is a delight as it has a huge market in Tollywood. Both of them are currently busy filming Agnathavasi in the locales of Europe and unsurprisingly, it is a hugely awaited film.

The makers of the movie are yet to confirm the title or release any poster as such to drop hints. Yet the movie is making brisk business even before its release and channels were at loggerheads to acquire its satellite rights.

If a report doing the rounds is to be believed, the satellite rights of Pawan's Agnathavasi was finally bagged by Gemini Channel for a whopping Rs 19.5 Cr. According to sources, it is a non-baahubali record. We hear that leading Telugu entertainment channels MAA TV and Zee Telugu struck a deal to purchase the satellite rights but Gemini Channel got it for a competitive price.

The overseas rights are estimated to be at Rs 25 Cr. The film is likely to collect around Rs 150 Cr at this rate. The movie is slated for release next year on January 10.
