No ‘Telangana’ reference in Prez speech

The Telangana issue left untouched by President Pranab Mukherjee during his speech addressing the both the Houses of parliament on Thursday.

He said the Government was allocating Rs 200 crore for the Ghurkha Land Development Board.

He referred Andhra Pradesh saying that a new port was ready to establish under public-private partnership. So that the export capacity would be raised 100 million tones additionally, he said.

The President also said that about 2.85 lakh villages would be provide electricity under Rajiv Rural electricity Programme.
