Sudden Showers Bring Temporary Relief to Hyderabad 

Hyderabad: Sudden showers brought relief to city residents from sweltering heat on Sunday afternoon. 

The state capital has been reeling under a heatwave for the past few days. However, today’s unexpected rain brought temporary relief from the scorching heat in Abids, Koti, Tolichowki, Vanasthalipuram, Punjagutta, Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Khairatabad, Ameerpet and other places. 

As the city temperature will likely hover between 38 and 41 degree Celsius till the end of May, the weatherman predicted light to moderate rains at isolated places.
