Ramoji Film City: Woman Falls to Death from Eenadu Building

Hyderabad: A woman employee was found dead under mysterious circumstances on the premises of Ramoji Film City on Monday morning. According to reports, she died when she fell from the fourth floor  of the Eenadu office in the film city. The deceased woman was working in a call centre located on the fourth floor of Eenadu's office. 

Incidentally, the husband of the deceased woman identified as Saikumari is also working in the same building. A  case has been registered at the local police station in this connection and an investigation is underway into the incident. The police promptly shifted the woman's body to Osmania Hospital.

Saikumari was a resident of Lakshmareddypalem under Pedda Amberpet municipality limits. It has been reported that she was under extreme pressure at work and was suffering from stress for the past few days.

In January 2024, US-based Indian CEO of Vistex Asia-Pacific Private Ltd, Sanjay Shah died in a  freak accident at Eenadu Chairman Cherukuri Ramoji Rao-led Ramoji Film City.  Sanjay Shah died in a stunt at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The incident occurred during the silver jubilee celebrations of US-based software firm Vistex when the company’s CEO Sanjay Shah (56) and Raju Datla (52), an executive of the same firm fell to the ground from a height of 20 feet and landed on the hard surface at the Limelight Garden venue.
